I own a ton of photo and video gear, but if I had to keep only what I could fit in a single backpack, this is what I would choose.
Manfrotto wanted to sponsor this video and post and sent me their new Pro Light Multiloader backpack. It's a medium-sized backpack with a ridiculous amount of customization. Check out the other bags in this Pro Light series for one that fits your needs perfectly. For me, I'd probably choose something slightly larger, like the Cinematic backpack.
Ok, let's get to the gear. Watch the video above to hear about why I chose each piece of gear. I've made a list of everything down below.
If you shoot more stills, buy the Sony a7 IV
It's really hard to narrow down two giant studios filled with gear into a single backpack, but I think that the gear I chose is the most essential to what I do. Do you think I missed something? Let me know in the comments below.
Out of curiosity - why the Tamron lenses over the Sony lenses?
I mention in the video that the price is so much cheaper and the quality wasn't that different.
Just came to check if you still used Mac. I have an order in and have second thoughts. Been using Windows all my life, but tried briefly the MBP 13 a year ago for a couple of months, but gave up. Had the same problems you did in your YouTube videos.
But will give it another try, and hope a bigger screen (16inch) will help. And some more patience...
I have not used a Windows machine since I bought it. I can't believe it. I'll do a video about it soon.
