This was in Kandahar, Afghanistan. The buildings are old Russian barracks that were bombed by the Russians when they left back in the 1980's. Holes still in the building, they now house members of the Afghan National Army (ANA). This photo was taken back in Feb 2011 during a really bad rainy season.
I see these comments on many photos - BTW - those who are putting comments like "Needs Work" should elaborate to say what is needed according to them.
Mia is a natural in front of the camera. She knows where the light is and plays to it in a soft, knowing way.
