Exploring a different angle.....

I posted recently about how using the Bluristic app angle mode could simulate the action used in the Pep Ventosa 'in the round' technique.
Essentially Bluristic can be used to mimic this technique - both take a series of images whilst walking around an object and then blend results.

The difference is though that Bluristic blends automatically and you have little control over the end result, whereas the traditional method of blending those shots as layers in Photoshop allows a lot more creative control.

Whilst hiking a forest with my wife I had a moment of inspiration. This same (Bluristic) technique could be used to capture treetops using the Angle function in a similar manner.

I had tried rotating the camera with other apps in the past but TBH was frustrated by the results, but Bluristic seems great for this.

This all comes after being inspired by images created by Esther's Photographie ( IG @esthers_multipleexposure), and more lately by some other dude that's hitting my IG feed. However, BOTH of these employ a DSLR to achieve results, and I think there's a case for the simple iPhone.

Following are some examples, just to show what can be created (looking up/down/straight).

I'm planning on writing a blog post or two expanding on this technique and would be interested to know what others feel about these images
