Over Exposed

This is not the sort of image I usually capture but while walking in the Peak District I visited the crash site of the "Over Exposed", a USAF Boeing RB-29A Superfortress converted into a reconnaissance aircraft, that crashed in low cloud while on a training mission in 1948. Tragically all 13 on board perished and it's really sobering walking around the scene of such a devastating incident.

There is more information about this crash on Wikipedia for those interested to read the full story.

A Very Challenging Photo

Sometimes a bit of luck is all you need.

When/Where: On August 7, 2026 at the Abbotsford International Airshow during the Friday afternoon/evening Twilight Show.

Tiny Visitor

I was recently back in the woods trying to take some wildlife photos. Sadly, I barely came across any birds that day and whenever I did, they were gone before I could even focus on them.
