Around New yours I got a still life box that my father made for me.I didn't have a background in it yet, but I tried my hand at this all around style. Any constructive criticism welcome.
Hi Chloe, your images appear to me to be very "painterly" and artistic. I love them! I don't use this technique only because I have never had the time to learn and my work keeps me outside mostly but it is on my to-do list.
I see wonderful color mixing and the softness brings me closer for a deeper inspection of your work. How do you print and frame your work? I'd love to see these big, like 4'x5' and on up on a wall. They have romanticism and warmth. I didn't see these images on your gallery under ICM so maybe I missed them.
If you added a signature in the lower right, these would mimic an impressionist paintings. I like the second better with the splash of blue but both are well done and very nice.
I don't much like the whole Pep thing, Chloe, but I like these images of yours! Go figure... ;-)
Actually, to be fair, Ventosa has some fine images to his credit, but it's not a style I'd emulate.
I admire your experimentation, openness and creativity.

Thanks Ken. I do not have these on my gallery, mostly because they are my first attempts. Without feedback I wasn’t willing to upload them yet.
I haven’t thought about the signature mimicking impressionist paintings. That you for the inspiration.
