Interesting as the sky in these is so different. I think both have their place

Perhaps you could share your new technique so others may try?
Well, firstly, thanks for your opinion! The essential part of the technique is to erase the details in the bottom part of the photo with the curves adjustment (see below), invert it, and then use a range of Nik Collection adjustments (Analog Efex, and Cross Processing + Ink in Color Efex), including a few other less important tools & presets used for the saturated sky effect.
