That Sort of a Day

We vacated Collegeville yesterday while the cleaning service was undoing the last of the mess remaining from the recent water damage unpleasantness. The Mrs drove while I looked for photographs I could shoot from a moving vehicle in the rain. I was reminded once again that images shot through a wet windshield are not going to be as crisp as they might otherwise be.

Hey Andrew - thanks for posting.

I actually think that the wet windshield has helped this image - it certainly conveys the dreary day you have described, and perhaps a strong metaphor for water damage you were escaping.

We had a roof leak on Christmas Eve that damaged drywall and more in three vertically aligned rooms that required more than two months and about $25,000 to repair. It's a longer story than is appropriate in this forum. All is well now, thank goodness, including the roof.
