Minimalist wood duck

I recently downloaded ebird, an app used to record sightings of birds. I saw that wood ducks were recently spotted at Lake Fairfax and decided to check it out. Their is a boardwalk that leads out to a pier where one can rent paddleboats. I didn't realize the wood ducks would be hanging out near the peer and I spooked them. They flew out to the middle of the lake and slowly swam to the opposite shoreline. I took some photos anyways (awesome looking birds) hoping to land a decent shot. Had to work in a pretty significant crop to get some detail and I realize the birds weren't tack sharp...also need to work on my technique.

Anyways, here is my attempt at a minimalist wood duck. I already know the photo itself isn't very sharp (I'm going back there to try again) but thought I would share anyways.

Great minimalist shot of a Wood Duck indeed.

I think focus is there... hum... Have you tried Super Resolution in Camera Raw? From this image the photo looks great to me.

I saw that Super Resolution was added to ACR. I'm going to have to play around with that....thanks.
