Part of what liitle I could see of the world from an inner-urban flat I was cooped up in last year during lockdown. Occasional light and weather provided moments suggesting a potentially worthwhile image.
In response to Alan's comment, I have posted a reworked version to try to get the geometry right in this mind-boggling visual cacophony. My brain will never be quite the same. I gave it a few other tweaks as well. Comments welcome, especially on the tonal changes at bottom right.
I like your idea here Chris and appreciate the side lighting. The one thing that bugs me is the angled lines - like a sloping horizon my eyes want those lines either level or no where close to being so.
Perhaps just me being anal? I was hoping to see other opinions on this.
Now you mention it, Alan - I'll have to do some more work on it. It's maddening to work on with that jumble of glare & contrast! I just had a go but it defeated me. I'll have another attempt when I'm fresh, and might add an edit below the original to compare.
Tweaked version added, Alan. Better?
Yes, that looks better to me!
