Leaf It Where It Lays

Am always intrigued by the colours and textures of everyday... well, life.

I'm crafting a series of images, in medium format, for an architectural firm to be printed large and hung in a gallery space. This image seems to evoke quite different emotions when it is viewed on the wall.

I'd love to hear what any members think of this image and why they feel the way they do about.

Thanks

Thanks for posting Julian, this is certainly an interesting question.
The first reaction is that the image does not grab attention, and would likely not do well in an Instagram society that favors ’punch’ over finesse.

That said this is an image that draws the viewer in to discover more. I can see how this might draw mixed reactions, personally if exhibited in large format this is an image I could see myself spending time appreciating the others intricacies, especially if displayed with others as part of a theme.

In some ways this demands attention due to the lack of attention-grabbing content.
