I thought I would try out my 50 year old lenses: Canon FD 50mm f/1.5 SSC and Canon FD 28mm f/2.8 on my Canon R5 with the use of the appropriate adapter.

Personally, I almost always dislike selective color. It seems to sell well, but to me it feels gimmicky.
I totally agree Gregory... but, a wierd thing happened. I started a RED umbrella series and I kinda like it.
The black and white portrait is outstanding. I wonder if it would feel more consistent as an overall image if you darkened the umbrella somewhat and desaturated it somewhat

Usually, I'm not a fan of selective color. But, this image has a almost movie feel to it. Kinda reminds of Sin City. I like it.
With that said, had you asked the same question with your other red umbrella images with the other two models, it would have been a no...just no. :)
