I thought I would try out my 50 year old lenses: Canon FD 50mm f/1.5 SSC and Canon FD 28mm f/2.8 on my Canon R5 with the use of the appropriate adapter.

I really enjoy creating something different with drones. I've had the Mavic now for about four weeks and I absolutely love it.

I’d say the best one is the 4th photo. Though, not sure if it’s just the wall, but, looks crooked.
The other 3:
--- that hand position needs to go. Looks too forced. She has 3 different outfits at 3 different locations but similar hand posing.
--- consider having a brush with you. :) The outdoor ones seems her hair is disarray.
--- especially since you have 4 images, need to vary her expressions. They all look the same. Even her mouth opening is the same.
--- If she wants that attitude look, she needs attitude clothing. That’s why I think the 4th image works. I'd wager for the other 3, they would be much stronger if she were smiling even just a little.
Below is just one example (random internet) of a sitting position with no hands on the face. Sometimes, best to just keep it simple.

OK thanks for the feedback. I agree with you about her smiling but she doesn't like her smile so that's why the photos she as similar facial expressions. Do you have any advice for a model that doesn't like her smile?
Probably only advice for that is don’t force them, otherwise they may look uncomfortable. Heck, almost none of the models I’ve shot smile. :) For your friend, maybe fun happy portrait shoots doesn’t fit her. Maybe something more edgy or editorial/fashion related would fit her.
Ok thanks I'll keep that in mind the next time I shoot with her
Hello James
I like the photos, I think that the observations they made before are correct although I particularly like the third, the pose and the light is better than the fourth. The second appears to have very overhead light and eyes in shadow do not add anything to this photo.
