5 Things That Derail Landscape Photography

Landscape photography is a challenging genre that takes a variety of different aptitudes coming together simultaneously to create successful images. As such, there are a lot of things that can inadvertently derail your process. This great video tutorial features an experienced landscape photographer discussing five such things and how to fix or avoid them in the first place.

Coming to you from First Man Photography, this excellent video tutorial discusses five things that can derail the landscape photography process. Perhaps the one I think is most common is fair weather friendliness. Of course, we all would rather be outside when it is warm and dry, but the world is inundated with landscape images featuring partly cloudy skies and golden sun. Being willing to persevere through less ideal conditions will often yield unique and more dramatic photos that capture the viewer's imagination and that rise above the din of the billions of photos posted every day. Check out the video above for the full rundown.
