Coming to you from Photo Tom, this great video will show you seven awesome ideas for autumn photography. One of my favorite ways to capture fall in recent years has been using my drone. Of course, that is not to say you should not go out with a traditional camera setup, but a drone can create some very unique photos that show the beauty from a totally different perspective. You can shoot straight down over a dense forest for a more abstract look at patterns of color, or you can tilt the camera up a bit to capture a more traditional look but from a vantage point that would not be possible otherwise. The beauty is that most drones nowadays can fold to the size of a single 70-200mm lens, meaning if you are headed out with your normal setup, you do not need a separate bag; you can simply toss it in your backpack along with the rest of your gear. Check out the video above for the full rundown.
