Helpful Advice for Fall Photography

Fall is also upon us, and with it will come numerous opportunities for photos of vibrant leaves and landscapes. The time of best color often passes unexpectedly quickly, though, so it is important to be ready and have a plan in place if you want to get the best possible photos. If you are preparing for autumn photography, check out this great video tutorial that offers some helpful tips and advice.

Coming to you from Mark Denney, this awesome video tutorial will offer you some helpful tips and advice for fall photography. One tip that I really appreciated is using a polarizing filter. We often think of such filters for cutting down glare when shooting bodies of water or for deepening the color of the sky, but that same ability to cut down on glare can make those colorful leaves all the more vibrant and punchy. Leaves that are wet or simply viewed from the wrong angle (due to their waxy coating) can create glare that saps them of those beautiful fall colors we all love. Adding a polarizing filter can restore them to the glory you came for. Check out the video above for the full rundown from Denney.
