What Kind of Landscape Photos Can You Shoot on a Cloudless Day?

For landscape photographers, a sunny day with no clouds in the sky is kind of boring and does not make for particularly interesting photos. On the other hand, that does not mean you should just pack up your bag and head back home if you encounter such a day. This excellent video tutorial follows a landscape photographer as he demonstrates what you can shoot on such days. 

Coming to you from Mark Denney, this awesome video tutorial discusses what you can shoot when the sky is cloudless and uninteresting. No doubt, such days can be frustrating, but when I encounter them, I like to put away the wide angle lens and start focusing on the details. Normally, the sky makes up a huge part of a landscape shot, so personally, if it is not especially interesting that day and just taking up space in the frame that could be used for something else, I simply remove it and fill the image with other interesting things.
