What Should You Pack for an Overnight Landscape Photography Trip

Landscape photography and camping seem almost meant for each other, especially if you want to capture things like a sunrise or early morning fog. So, if you are headed out for such a trip, what do you need to pack? This excellent video tutorial features a seasoned landscape photographer discussing what he packs on overnight trips.

Coming to you from Andy Mumford, this awesome video tutorial discusses what he packs for overnight landscape photography trips. More than anything, you need to make sure you are being safe if you go on such a trip and not going outside your abilities (with regards to braving the elements). A lot of landscape photography locations tend to be in more extreme environments and may require advanced wilderness and survival skills in order to make sure you stay safe overnight. If you are not experienced with such situations, consider bringing along someone who has the necessary skills and knowledge or restrict yourself to safer and less extreme environments until you are ready. Check out the video above for the full rundown from Mumford.
