Helpful Tips and Tricks for Outdoor Macro Photography

The wonderful thing about macro photography is that unlike other landscape photography, you can do it just about anywhere and find compelling subjects. If you are ready to head out and try it out for yourself, check out this helpful video tutorial that will show you a few tips and techniques for taking good macro photos.

Coming to you from Landscape Photography iQ with Tom Mackie, this great video tutorial will show you some tips and techniques for macro photography. Macro photography can be a ton of fun, particularly since we are surrounded by potential subjects almost anywhere we go, and there is a lot of creative latitude. You can render subjects in an abstract way, showing off the intricate and beautiful patterns that are invisible to the naked eye, or you can back off a bit simply to change the perspective a little, thereby making smaller things larger than life. There is a lot of room to explore your creativity. Check out the video above for the full rundown from Mackie.
