Edwin, looks like a wonderful park, marvelous old tree! However can't understand the wide-open aperture and 1/8000 second ?

Hi Paul, thanks for the comment. The park bench and reader are acutally set back quite a ways from the tree. I wanted to get the reader in prime focus and the tree a little out of focus, hence the f/2.8. It was also a very sunny afternoon, and there was a light breeze that meant the leaves and branches swayed a bit. I had to wait for a lull in the breeze and take my shot - hence the 1/8000 s.
