Random stuff

What you see is a drone photo of a coal mining site in Poland, where various drilling and similar equipment is stored. From afar, it really looks like an abstract painting, and I have more similar images on my website. This photo was taken in 2023, during one of my regular trips around Europe. In this case, the moderately harsh light wasn’t a problem, as it revealed the colors of the well-worn equipment. I think it was there that a security guard drove by and noticed me while I was landing my drone, and I had to explain myself — not the first time.
