The concept is simple - to create a nice looking image out of something inherently ugly, like the industrial object here. This is a direction and style I've been working in for the last three years, something I call "Industrial Fine Art". This particular photo was quite simple in execution - the right angle and composition, proper light (or absence of sunlight), modest clarity and contrast and then some clean up in Photoshop.
Great job again, German! I love your "grimescapes", among my favourite photographic genres. This image is particularly strong with its abstraction and strong graphic composition. Well done.
