In-flight meal

I spent a morning photographing hummingbirds at a local nature sanctuary where they were drawn to a patch of orange jewelweed. I was trying to capture some of them in flight and managed to snap this shot. I didn't realize what I had captured until reviewing on my laptop. These are such amazing creatures to observe, and being able to catch one in the act of snagging an insect mid-air was an extra special treat.
