‘Subject is No Object’ is a series of large-format works where reality is fully transformed into abstraction through gesture. Even though the photograph shows an urban scene, only light and color remain. The tram becomes a ghost, objects almost vanish, leaving only emotions.
That is why I print these works in large format. Size is essential here: it creates the necessary atmosphere and alters the emotional state.
