Puffball

A dandelion seed head, or puffball, is a delicate, spherical cluster of white, feathery seeds attached to a central stalk. Each seed, called an achene, is topped with a wispy pappus that catches the wind, aiding dispersal. The airy structure glows in sunlight, transforming the humble dandelion into a fleeting, ethereal orb.
