After the Fog

This morning there was a dense fog on the creek behind my home. Adding to that, the creek is bordered by a cypress swamp which adds even more to the ambiance. When the sun rose, the fog gently burned off from the warm glow of the sun. As the fog receded it revealed a beautiful morning with waning fog serving as a backdrop creating a painterly image. The stillness of the water generated reflections of the trees above. When I processed this image, I added a touch of Gaussian blur to round out the scene.
