The dormant season is fast approaching here but some of the summer flowers are still blooming. Fortunately we do have flowers throughout the winter season so the hummingbirds are year-round residents.
For this photo I used the Lensbaby Velvet 56 lens, a creative lens that adds an ethereal mood with velvety glow effect. It works as intended in an overcast light or w/o any direct sunlight on the subject. It's a fully manual lens and when the photos are uploaded, the EXIF information is not available.
