The warrior of Bay of Bengal.

The Bay of Bengal has existed for millions of years, shaping the destiny of the lands and people surrounding it. Blessed with immense biodiversity, Bangladesh has become a paradise of marine life and fisheries resources. The country’s maritime boundary stretches even larger than its landmass. From the Chola dynasty to the present day, the Bay of Bengal has witnessed countless transformations—and its fishermen, too, have adapted with time. Yet their enduring struggle, resilience, and defiance against nature form an epic saga of survival. They are more than fishermen—they are warriors of the sea. Their relentless battle with the ocean and their untold stories have always captivated me. This is why I set out to document their warrior lives through my lens.
