Alcazar of Segovia

The Alcázar of Segovia is one of Spain’s most iconic castles. Located on a rocky hill at the confluence of the Eresma and Clamores rivers, it has served as a royal residence, fortress, and state prison. Its distinctive ship-like shape and blend of Gothic and Mudéjar architecture make it one of the most recognizable landmarks in Castilla y León. The image shows the castle at sunset, with a partly cloudy sky highlighting the warm tones of the stone.
