The image reminds me of infrared photography, specifically the trees. I enjoy this shot. Thank you for sharing this image.
Jay, it actually is an infrared photo. The camera is a modified one (the infrared cut filter is removed and a infrared pass filter is added on the lens).
I have not seen an infrared image since I was at the Art Institute of Boston. I believe kodak once generated infrared film and lenses were marked with a red line for using that type of film.
