I took this in my backyard over the summer. This little asshole would sit on this branch and wait for other birds to show up to my feeders and then dive bomb them.
I set up my godox ad300 pro with a soft box on a light stand near my feeders and waited patiently with my sigma 150-600 for the birds to stop by. The light from my flash was enough to light up this guy in the tree about 50 feet away.

Hey Kyle, some species of humming birds these diving displays can also be courtship. Although in Meso-America, hummingbirds are representative as a warrior class for a reason!
Out here I have seen single Rufous Hummingbirds try to dominate several feeders, amazing.
