My goal with this photograph was to show the transition from day to night of this scene in downtown Durham, North Carolina. I did this by taking several photographs all taken at different times of day and carefully blending them together in photoshop. All in all bits and pieces of 15 photos were used to create the final image.
I started my shooting around golden hour and shot until dark. Probably around 2 hours total. I actually took the photos for this a couple of years ago but I could never really get a result I was satisfied with. I took a stab at reediting it this afternoon and I'm liking how it came out this time.
