The Old Stonecutter

18mm · f/2.8 · 1/250 · ISO 1000

While I was shooting a seascape, I met this old man with this interesting face, carving stone by the sea, and got to chatting with him He was a local and the lines in his face gave so much character. He very kindly allowed me to shoot his portrait.
The original was shot in color, but I converted the RAW image to black and white (which is my preference) and edited it to bump up the contrast and clarity to bring out the features.
