Cypress Swamp Trail Boardwalk at Highlands Hammock State Park, 2011

This photograph shows the wooden boardwalk along the Cypress Swamp Trail at Highlands Hammock State Park in Florida. The walkway curves through a dense wetland forest filled with tall cypress trees, exposed roots, and dark reflective water beneath the structure. The image was taken on April 3, 2011 using a Pentax K‑x with a Pentax smc DA 18–55mm f/3.5–5.6 AL II lens. It is part of the Top 100 Journey project and documents the natural landscape and ecosystem of a Florida swamp environment.
