I love digital photography

There is a Navy base close by and there are often jets and other planes flying over all the time. One day there was a jet flying over the neighborhood and I just happened to be outside with my Nikkor 300mm f/4 PF lens and camera. Obviously, I added the sky background, but I share this because I am so amazed at the detail, I was able to capture of the jet using this lens. The photo is heavily cropped; and I will admit slightly over-sharpened and yet considering the distance and the speed of the jet, the lens is capable of capturing the details of the pilot in the cockpit. I have also had some success using this lens to capture some great hummingbird, and osprey photos. The advancements of digital photography are so impressive and have provided me with many opportunities of enjoyment.
