I just raised my camera to try out some new settings on this wildflower when this lovely hummingbird flew into the shot! After gasping in surprise, I managed three clicks of the shutter before it flew off and somehow, I managed to get this lucky shot. I was using my Nikkor 300mm f/4E PF lens at 1/500th f/6.3 with ISO200. I do believe I could not have planned a nicer photo!
