African Wild Dog puppies in the Mana Pools Nationalpark, Zimbabwe, while on a walking safari.
In the Mana Pools NP you are able to approach wild animals on foot with a certified guide.
You get as close as the animals feel comfortable.
If you get too close, they will flee.
African wild dogs are somewhat relaxed about this.
When they start frolicking, they forget their flight distance and come quite close to you.
This is the possibility to get nice eye level shots of these guys, which would not be possible from the vehicle.
