“Summer Hummer”

Hummingbirds have reached a crescendo in my backyard yard. The morning sun against the green foliage makes for a good “out of focus” background. Photographing fast flying hummingbirds is like going to the gym for a photographer. Heavy lens builds biceps, and the quick darting creatures builds the extrinsic eye muscles.
