Blue hour at the top of Cottonwood Pass, Colorado. Nearly 12,000 feet above sea level, peak fall colors burning gold and amber across the tundra, and the switchback road turning into light trails as the last cars made their way down the mountain. This is what happens when you stay past the safe hour and wait for the light to get strange. Worth every cold minute.
