Duke Gardens Visitor Center

I recently went out to Duke Gardens to capture some fall foliage and also to photograph the new visitor center. The visitor center is basically brand new just opened up this spring. I tried to get hired by the architecture firm who designed this but alas they went with someone else.

Anyway, I went out to shoot it for myself, to perhaps get some more portfolio pieces and maybe, who knows, try to license some of my images to the firm that didn't hire me.

This was shot on a sony a7r4 with my 12-24 gmaster. I know most professionals opt to use a tilt shift instead of a wide angle, but I'm willing to bet that no one could tell if this was on a tilt shift or not. Edited in LR then brought to PS where I did just a tiny bit of exposure blending just on the lights of the building to bring them down some. Then I did a sky replacement using one of Mike Kelley's skies from his sky library I recently acquired from my winnings in one of the recent CTCs.
