For this shot, I wanted deep black shadows to create a very graphical, mysterious vibe. I also slightly desaturated the skin to help the lips and black and white of the hat stand out.
This was lit with one spot projector camera left and above to create the deep shadows with hard lines and a softbox directly behind. I then flipped the image horizontally in post.
