A return to a place in the Cottonwood Canyons of Utah. A proper hike that challenges these weary legs and stiff back (from plunging into a creek last week) Though the price of admission is high the rewards can be tangible. I caught this as the morning sun crested the mountains and briefly, oh so briefly illuminated this...island of light.

Thanks Chris! It was a beautiful moment that I could have easily missed. I just wanted to see the lake on my way to the waterfall (which I didn't make it to...overrun).
