Here Are the 21 Most Important New Features in Photoshop

The latest version of Photoshop is here, and it brings with it what is probably the most impressive array of new features and improvements to the program in recent memory. With all the new capabilities, you might be wondering what all is now possible. This excellent video will take you through the 21 most important new features and demonstrates what you can do with them.

Coming to you from Unmesh Dinda with PiXimperfect, this fantastic video will guide you through the 21 most important new features in the latest version of Photoshop. Version 22 comes with a bevy of new features, including a new Sky Replacement tool that competes with Luminar's tool and the integration of neural filters, which allow you to do things like add a convincing smile to a person or change their age relatively quickly and easily. An additional neural filter feature is the new skin smoothing tool, which promises to quickly and intelligently reduce blemishes without destroying skin texture, which can certainly cut back on retouching time for people like portrait photographers. Altogether, the new version of the program looks to have some promising improvements that will both save time and invigorate creativity. Check out the video above for the full rundown from Dinda.

That's why PS have no rivals

Clearly I need to revisit PhotoShop, and have been playing around in Illustrator and Lightroom too long.

Kudos to the tutor, great paced video with enough detail to understand for every level user without feeling rushed or dragged out, and real-life examples. Kudos to Adobe for making Photoshop more relevant by catching up on tools other apps had been providing (at additional cost). So, for once, an update that makes the subscription price worth it.
