Matt Richardson created a unique, prototype camera that actually describes scenes. "The Descriptive Camera works a lot like a regular camera—point it at subject and press the shutter button to capture the scene. However, instead of producing an image, this prototype outputs a text description of the scene. Modern digital cameras capture gobs of parsable metadata about photos such as the camera's settings, the location of the photo, the date, and time, but they don't output any information about the content of the photo. The Descriptive Camera only outputs the metadata about the content.

uh-huh... And the 'AI' in this 'camera' can't even spell: "... It seems to be run down and in need of repirs."
Lol I wanna try this camera for a portrait..
Looks like a picture of a man. He seems to be bent over. He has a ring on his finger and in need of repirs.
I see a future for this camera in porn
I love it! I wish it says for portraits: "OMG You sooo fat" / "Hellloooo nice one" and so ;)
I wonder what it would say about itself if shooting in a mirror...
Interesting concept, i think maybe in 10-15 years something like this will be possible.
Sooooooo the prototype actually works? W O W
If you read his project description, the software is running through Amazon's Mechanical Turk service - essentially there is a real person on the other end of the "wire" writing descriptions.
