Cycle Of Life (1/3)

I got into photography because I found it challenging. There are so many components to make a single image, that you cannot ever stop learning. Every photo shoot is a challenge, every single image as well.
I created this particular image while on break in the South of France (Biarritz). I didn't expect to shoot anything but street photography and a couple of "souvenirs pictures", so I had my 5Diii along with a 50mm 1.4 that's it.
But Eva, a fellow photographer living there, had another idea in mind. She wanted to pose for me. I had been shooting portraits for a whole year and started to feel tired of it. I did so many portraits in 2015 because I needed to improve the way I interact with models and I had to work on my lighting. It was a great way to do it, but creative work is what I really want to do.
A couple of sketches later, the place found and here we are… Trying to make curtains fly to create a composite. 44 images in total to have everything I needed but it was fun and so refreshing. Looking forward to getting back to this kind of work in 2016!
