Seljalandsfoss is one of the best known waterfalls in Iceland and it's possible to walk behind it, but I gotta tell you the mist coming from it doesn't make it that easy at all to take a picture! It's pretty crazy! But the feeling you get when you get out of there all wet from head to toe with your gear is amazing!
This waterfall of the river Seljalandsá drops 60 metres over the cliffs of the former coastline.

This is one of the most beautiful landscape photos that I have ever seen. Absolutely breathtaking. I'd give you six stars if I could man :)

Thank you Michael for your kind words! I'm glad you liked it :)

Also, I'm just curious, but what focal length did you use for this shot?

Larry Lato's picture

Excellent, beats any waterfall shot I've done. I can only imagine and appreciate the effort needed to get this.

Thank you Larry ! :)

I have been to this place twice. Unfortunately the weather was not on my side on both occasions.

I have first hand experience of how hard it's to shoot from this angle. I can not praise you enough for this photo, knowing the difficulties.

How did you manage to work with the spray? I could hardly see any water vapors.
I love the post-processing too. I assume its a bracketed shot.

Thank you for those kind words! Yeah it was a toughy! Actually I didn't use bracketing on this one, didn't have much time I barely had half a second to take the shot :)

Oh man. this turned out gorgeous!
