This was a mega shoot that we did for my client Angela Marcuccio. She had this idea of doing a take on The Last Supper painting by Leonardo Da Vinci.
It was a huge effort coordinating the whole day with hair and makeup taking about 5 hours to complete before anyone actually stepped in front of my camera in my studio.
The lighting was surprisingly simple with just a single 2m parabolic umbrella on a boom positioned in the center and about 4m from the models. Big 6mx6m black velvet drape was used and then the reflection, candle flames and background forest photoshopped in.
The amazing thing is this is a single shot and no cut'n'pasting from any other images to finalize the models poses and expressions.
The day included:
13 Models
14 Wedding Gowns
8 Crowns and Headpieces
3 Makeup Artists
2 Hair Stylists
1 Photographer!
Designer: Angela Marcuccio Couture Bridal Gowns
Headpieces: Elysian Creations Bridal Accessories
