sheltered

These red cabins are called Rorbuer in norwegian and once they were shelters for the brave arctic fisherman. First signs of population from over 6000 years ago were found on Lofoten islands in northern Norway recently... can you imagine braving the elements without any modern technology and communication measures?
Nowadays the cabins are cosy homes for rent- the perfect way to enjoy the beauty of Lofoten!
