"I would have to say the most memorable experience was getting off the plane. I told myself that if I made it home I would kiss the ground of the United States. So I stepped off the plane and I kissed my hand and then kissed the ground. And then as I’m walking down I can see my family and my daughter, at three years old. The look on her face after a year and a half of me being gone and the way she was shacking from excitement was probably the memory that is most engrained in my head, ever."
