Juliette Binoche by Kurt Iswarienko

One of my favorite shoots with the legendary beauty Juliette Binoche. I remember her pulling me aside when she arrived, suitcase in hand, and saying "listen, I don't know about these clothes they pulled for me... so I had a feeling and I brought my own. Are you in?". Photographing her was merely an exercise in not tripping over myself while chasing her around the studio. Lighting set ups? Forget about it! She moves too fast for that. Just hang on tight and get as much of it in focus as you can. I learned not to ever be too entrenched in a rigid game plan, to be open, to react, and to embrace surprises.
