Also in the San Diego Art Museum's sculpture garden is "Aim I" by Alexander Liberman. This is a small isolated section of the sculpture and my favorite part because it displays bot simple and complex charictaristics, a sort of implied complexity.
With most of my sculpture photosn I try to render the subject as unreal as possible, like something found in a math text book. For that I needed a perfectly uniform sky with even lighting.
Thankfully I was in San Diego, where such skies are common place.
